How to Cancel Zoom Paid Plan | ज़ूम पेड प्लान कैसे रद्द करें

Zoom paid plans (Pro, Business, Enterprise) automatically renew each month or annually. This comprehensive guide covers all methods to cancel or downgrade your Zoom subscription.

Key Information: Canceling or downgrading stops future charges but you can continue using paid features until the end of your current billing period. Your meetings, recordings, and data remain accessible.

1. Canceling via Zoom Web Portal

For most individual and business subscriptions:

  1. Visit zoom.us and sign in
  2. Click your profile icon → My Account
  3. Go to BillingBilling Portal or Subscription
  4. Click Manage Subscription or Cancel Subscription
  5. Select reason and confirm cancellation

Note: You will keep access to your paid plan features until the current billing cycle ends. After cancellation, your account reverts to Basic (free) plan.

2. Downgrading Zoom Plan

If you want to switch to a lower plan instead of full cancellation:

  1. Log in to zoom.us
  2. Go to My AccountBilling
  3. Click Manage Subscription
  4. Choose Downgrade Plan and select the desired plan

3. Canceling via Apple App Store (iOS)

For subscriptions purchased through iOS:

  1. Open Settings app
  2. Tap your name → Subscriptions
  3. Select Zoom
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm

4. Canceling via Google Play (Android)

For subscriptions purchased through Android:

  1. Open Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptionsSubscriptions
  3. Select Zoom
  4. Tap Cancel subscription and confirm

5. Canceling Bank-Linked Autopay

If charges persist after cancellation:

  1. Log in to your bank's internet banking or mobile app
  2. Navigate to Standing Instructions or Auto-Debit Mandates
  3. Find and cancel the Zoom mandate
  4. Contact bank support if needed

Important Notes

  • Refunds: Zoom offers refunds only in specific cases (usually within 14 days for annual plans)
  • Meetings: You can still host meetings but with Basic plan limits (40 minutes) after cancellation
  • Verification: Always check confirmation email and Billing section
  • India Plans: Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans with monthly & annual billing

Troubleshooting

If Autopay Still Deducts Money:

  • Verify cancellation in Zoom Billing portal
  • Check for active bank mandates
  • Contact Zoom support

If You Can't Find Cancel Option:

  • Ensure you are logged in as the account owner or admin
  • Check if subscription is managed by your organization
  • Contact Zoom support for assistance

Contacting Zoom Support

  • Help Center: support.zoom.com
  • Billing Support: Available in Zoom Billing Portal
  • Phone/Chat: Check help center for regional contact details

Alternatives to Canceling

  • Downgrade: Switch from Business to Pro or Pro to Basic
  • Reduce Hosts: Lower number of licensed users in Business plans
  • Remove Payment Method: Delete saved card after canceling

Zoom Basic plan is sufficient for most personal use. Downgrading instead of full cancellation may be a better option.
