How to Cancel Google Pay AutoPay Mandate | गूगल पे ऑटोपे मैंडेट कैसे हटाएं

Google Pay AutoPay mandates (UPI recurring payments) automatically deduct money for various subscriptions like Netflix, Amazon, Hotstar, etc. This comprehensive guide covers all methods to cancel Google Pay AutoPay mandate.

Key Information: Canceling the mandate stops future automatic deductions. For complete protection, also cancel the subscription from the respective service (Netflix, Zee5, etc.).

1. Canceling via Google Pay App (Recommended)

The easiest and fastest method:

  1. Open the Google Pay app
  2. Tap on your profile picture at the top right
  3. Select AutoPay or Recurring payments
  4. You will see all active mandates
  5. Tap on the mandate you want to cancel
  6. Tap Cancel mandate or Stop AutoPay
  7. Confirm the cancellation

Note: You can see details like merchant name, amount, frequency, and next deduction date before canceling.

2. Canceling via Bank UPI App

If the mandate is not visible in Google Pay:

  1. Open your bank's UPI app (BHIM, PhonePe, or your bank's app)
  2. Go to Mandates, AutoPay or Recurring Payments
  3. Find the Google Pay or merchant mandate
  4. Select and tap Cancel Mandate
  5. Confirm with UPI PIN

3. Canceling from Merchant Side

Recommended for complete cancellation:

  1. First cancel the subscription from the service (Netflix, Amazon, etc.)
  2. Then cancel the AutoPay mandate in Google Pay
  3. Verify in Google Pay that the mandate is inactive

Critical: Canceling only the mandate without stopping the subscription may lead to failed payments and late fees from the merchant.

4. Canceling via Bank Internet Banking

Alternative method using bank website:

  1. Log in to your bank's internet banking portal
  2. Go to UPI or Mandates / Standing Instructions
  3. Find the relevant AutoPay mandate
