Canva Teams is a collaborative subscription plan designed for businesses and groups. If you no longer need the plan, you can cancel it at any time. This guide covers all methods to cancel your Canva Teams subscription — whether you subscribed through Canva's website, Google Play, Apple App Store, or a third-party provider.

Key Information: Canceling your Canva Teams subscription will stop future billing, but all team members will retain access until the end of the current billing cycle. After cancellation, your designs are saved and you can still access them on the free plan.

1. Canceling via Canva Website (Desktop)

For subscriptions made directly through Canva:

Visit www.canva.com and log in as the Team Owner
Click your profile icon at the top-right corner
Go to Settings → Billing & Plans
Under your current plan, click Cancel Plan or Cancel Subscription
Select a cancellation reason and follow the on-screen prompts
Confirm cancellation — you will receive a confirmation email

Note: Only the Team Owner can cancel a Canva Teams subscription. Team Admins do not have this permission. Make sure you are logged into the correct owner account.

2. Canceling via Canva Mobile App

The mobile app redirects to the website for billing management:

Note: If you subscribed via Apple, your billing is managed by Apple. Canva's website cannot be used to cancel this subscription — you must cancel through iOS Settings.

5. Canceling via Third-Party Providers

If your Canva Teams subscription was activated through a third-party such as a reseller, agency, or telecom partner:

Check your original payment method in Canva Settings → Billing & Plans
Contact the third-party provider through their app, website, or customer support
Request cancellation and get a confirmation from them
Verify the cancellation status in your Canva account

Critical: Third-party subscriptions cannot be canceled directly through Canva. Refund eligibility and policies will vary by provider. Always get written confirmation of your cancellation.

6. Canceling Bank-Linked Autopay

If charges continue even after canceling your Canva subscription:

Log in to your bank's internet banking portal or mobile app
Navigate to Standing Instructions or Auto-Debit Mandates
Search for and cancel the Canva-related mandate
Contact your bank's customer support if you are unable to locate or remove it

Access After Cancellation: All team members retain access to Canva Teams features until the end of the current billing cycle
Designs & Data: Your designs are not deleted — they remain accessible on the free Canva plan after cancellation
Refunds: Canva generally does not offer refunds for unused periods, except in cases of billing errors
Team Members: After cancellation, team members are downgraded to free accounts automatically

Troubleshooting

If You Don't See a Cancel Option:

Confirm you are logged in as the Team Owner, not an Admin or Member
Check if the subscription was purchased via Google Play or Apple — cancel from those platforms instead
Try accessing Billing & Plans from a desktop browser rather than the app

If Autopay Still Deducts Money After Cancellation:

Verify cancellation status in Canva → Settings → Billing & Plans
Check for active mandates in your bank or UPI app
Contact Canva support with your cancellation confirmation and dispute the charge

If You Lost Access Immediately After Canceling:

This may happen if you were on a free trial — trial cancellations take effect immediately
