How to Cancel Facebook Subscriptions for Pages | फेसबुक पेज सब्सक्रिप्शन कैसे रद्द करें

Facebook allows users to subscribe to Pages and creators for exclusive content, members-only posts, badges, and live videos. These subscriptions renew automatically every month. This comprehensive guide covers all methods to cancel a Facebook Page subscription based on how you originally subscribed — through Android, iOS, or the web browser.

Key Information: Canceling a Facebook Page subscription stops all future charges but allows you to continue accessing exclusive subscriber content until the end of the current billing period. Your subscription history remains saved in case you choose to resubscribe later.

1. Canceling via Facebook App (Android)

For subscriptions made through the Facebook app on an Android device:

  1. Open the Facebook app and tap the three horizontal lines (☰) menu
  2. Scroll down and tap Settings & PrivacySettings
  3. Scroll to the Payments section and tap Facebook Pay or Subscriptions
  4. Find the Facebook Page subscription you want to cancel
  5. Tap ManageCancel Subscription and confirm

Note: You will continue to have access to the Page's exclusive subscriber content until the end of the current billing cycle. Check your subscription details for the exact expiry date.

2. Canceling via Facebook App (iOS / iPhone)

If you subscribed through the Facebook app on an iPhone or iPad, billing is managed by Apple:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your Apple ID / Name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Find and select Facebook from the list
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm when prompted

Important: iOS subscriptions are billed through Apple and cannot be canceled from within the Facebook app or website. You must cancel through iPhone/iPad Settings or the App Store to stop charges.

3. Canceling via Google Play Store (Android)

If your Facebook Page subscription was processed through Google Play billing:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner
  3. Go to Payments & SubscriptionsSubscriptions
  4. Find and select Facebook from the list
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the confirmation steps

To Cancel Google Pay Autopay Mandate:

  1. Open the Google Pay app
  2. Navigate to Autopay or Manage Payments
  3. Locate the Facebook or Meta Platforms mandate
  4. Tap Remove / Cancel and confirm

4. Canceling via Facebook Website (Desktop)

To cancel a Facebook Page subscription through a web browser on desktop or mobile:

  1. Visit www.facebook.com and log in to your account
  2. Click the downward arrow (▼) or your profile picture in the top-right corner
  3. Go to Settings & PrivacySettings
  4. Click on Payments in the left-hand menu
  5. Under Subscriptions, find the Page subscription you wish to cancel
  6. Click ManageCancel Subscription and confirm

Note: If billing was handled by Apple or Google at the time of subscription, the website will redirect you to the respective platform to complete the cancellation.

5. Canceling Directly from the Facebook Page

You can also cancel a subscription directly from the creator's Facebook Page:

  1. Go to the Facebook Page whose subscription you want to cancel
  2. Click or tap the Subscribed button near the top of the Page
  3. Select Manage Subscription from the dropdown
  4. Click Cancel Subscription and confirm when prompted

Note: This method works best on desktop browsers. On mobile, you may be redirected to the Subscriptions section within Settings to complete the cancellation.

6. Canceling via Third-Party or Telecom Providers

If your Facebook subscription was activated through Jio, Airtel, Vi, Paytm, or any other third-party partner:

  1. Open your telecom provider's app or website (e.g., MyJio, Airtel Thanks, Paytm)
  2. Navigate to My Plans, Subscriptions, or Active Services
  3. Find the Facebook Page subscription and select Cancel / Deactivate
  4. Verify the cancellation by checking Facebook Settings → Payments → Subscriptions

Critical: Subscriptions activated via telecom or third-party providers cannot be canceled directly through Facebook. Refund and access policies vary by provider — contact them directly for assistance or clarification.

7. Canceling Bank-Linked Autopay / Standing Instructions

If automatic charges continue even after canceling the subscription, your bank may have an active debit mandate:

  1. Log in to your bank's internet banking portal or mobile banking app
  2. Navigate to Standing Instructions, SI Manager, or Auto-Debit Mandates
  3. Locate the Facebook or Meta Platforms mandate
  4. Select Cancel / Revoke and confirm the request
  5. Contact your bank's customer support helpline if the mandate option is not visible

Important Notes

  • Refunds: Facebook and Meta generally do not offer refunds for Page subscriptions unless there is a confirmed billing error
  • Access: You retain access to exclusive subscriber content until the end of the current billing cycle after canceling
  • Verification: Always check for a confirmation email and review your Facebook Payments page after canceling
  • India Pricing: Facebook Page subscription prices are set by individual creators and typically range from ₹89–₹999/month
  • Multiple Subscriptions: If you subscribe to multiple Pages, each subscription must be canceled individually
  • Fan Badges: Any fan badges or subscriber perks earned will be removed once the subscription ends

Troubleshooting

If Autopay Still Deducts Money After Cancellation:

  • Verify cancellation status under Facebook Settings → Payments → Subscriptions
  • Check for active mandates in your bank app or Google Pay
  • Dispute the charge with your bank and raise a complaint with Meta support

If You Cannot Find the Cancel Option:

  • Ensure you are logged into the correct Facebook account used during subscription
  • Check whether the subscription was made through a third-party provider such as Apple, Google, Jio, or Airtel
  • Try canceling from the original platform used at the time of subscribing
  • Contact Facebook support directly for further assistance

If the Page Has Been Deactivated or Removed:

  • Charges may still continue if the subscription mandate is active
  • Cancel the mandate through your bank or Google Pay immediately
  • Report the issue to Meta support and request a refund for any charges after deactivation

Contacting Facebook / Meta Support

  • In-App Help: Facebook App → Menu → Help & Support → Report a Problem
  • Website: facebook.com/help
  • Meta Support Portal: help.instagram.com (Meta handles billing for both Facebook and Instagram)
  • Twitter / X: @Meta or @FacebookApp for escalation

Alternatives to Canceling

  • Downgrade Plan: Some Pages offer multiple subscription tiers — switch to a lower-priced plan instead of canceling entirely
  • Follow for Free: You can still follow and view the Page's public posts without a paid subscription
  • Pause Notifications: If the content feels overwhelming, mute the Page temporarily rather than canceling
  • Remove Payment Method: After canceling, go to Facebook Settings → Payments and remove your saved card or UPI details for added security

Before canceling, check whether the Page creator offers occasional free access to exclusive content or runs loyalty rewards for long-term subscribers. Staying subscribed during special events or content series may offer better value for your money.
